2 I'm the Worst

Day 4
{cardigan: F21, shirt: Ruche, pants: F21, shoes: Ross}

Yesterday I got spit up on before I could take an outfit picture and I thought I was going to die from stomach cramps. Therefore no pictures and I ate meat. I fail at life. Don't we all just make goals to break them. You don't? Mmm, that's weird. Well I'm still keeping my 30 for 30 goal and it's all I have left so I will stay strong and not buy anything for a month and remix my clothes!

We went to the zoo today. Kenzie loves animals and animal noises. It's the cutest thing. She knows noises for elephant, tiger, cow, bird, dog, cat, horse, duck, bunny, and sheep.

0 Day 1

{shirt: Target, pants: F21, belt: F21, shoes: Ross, necklace: UO}

Well, the fact that I'm posting this at 11pm at night tells you that I've already failed going to bed at 10:30. It's near impossible with all the things I want to get done in a day. And because Nick is up most nights studying and I hate going to bed alone. Last night I made pumpkin cinnamon rolls at midnight and we stayed up until 2 watching 24 and eating them. It was awesome. Another awesome thing is my family is here! Kenzie is loving all the attention and my dad's ipod. She's already mastered the swiping motion. Kids these days.

Meatless Meals
Breakfast: Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
Lunch: Veggie Sandwiches
Dinner: Broccoli Cheddar Soup. Mmmm!

1 October is going to be crazy

Sometimes I like to do hard things. Like taking 22 credits my senior year of college while working part time and being pregnant and then having my baby girl 2 days after graduation. Since I somehow survived that crazy year I feel like I can do anything.

Which is why I've decided to set a few goals for the month of October that are a little challenging, but doable.

1. Spend 30-60 minutes walking every day
2. Go to bed at 10:30 every night and wake up at 6:30 every morning
3. Be a vegetarian for an entire month
5. Don't spend any money (other than necessities)
6. One treat a week (preferably on date night)
7. Blog every day to make sure I'm keeping up with my goals

What do you think, too ambitious or just the right amount of crazy?

0 Aquarium

We went to the aquarium in Sandy last night and let Kenzie stay up past her bedtime. I'm really glad we did because she loved it! The second we got there she was off and running and pointing to everything. She would run up to something point and start jabbering then turn around to make sure we were seeing the same thing she was. She loved the penguins the best (who doesn't). It's so fun taking her places now and seeing her be so excited to see new things.

0 Dear Kenzie

You are 17 months old and growing so big
You have a smile that melts my heart
You are always happy and talking
You know over 45 words and are learning new ones everyday
You love to explore and try new foods
You make new friends wherever you go
You throw lots of tantrums that mom secretly thinks are hilarious
You love to empty the dishwasher with mom
You love animals and learning all their sounds
I love the sparkle in your eyes when you laugh
I love to teach you new words everyday
I love to paint our nails together
I love to read you books
I love to kiss your chubby cheeks
I love to tuck you in at night with your "ba" (stuffed animal sheep)
I love to sneak into your room when you've gone to sleep because I miss you
I love to snuggle with you and watch "memo" (Elmo)
I love to make treats with you
I love the way you scream cracker and snack when I ask you if you're hungry
I love to take you to the pet store to see the puppies
I love to spend all day, every day with you
But mostly I just love you
