Sew on the ears on the top of the beanie, then the attach the nose to the nose/mouth, then attach the nose mouth, and the eyes. Stitch a black line down the nose after attaching the nose/mouth. I also cut and glued two small felt circles to the eyes.

You can make this pattern bigger by continuing to increase the rows on the beanie part until it is big enough, and then stop the increase and just sc around until it is the desired length. You may have to adjust the eyes/ears/nose/mouth as well. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help! Enjoy.

0 Crochet Puzzle Blanket Pattern

I have been working on this blanket pattern for the past few months and am finally finished! I love how it turned out. I grew up doing lots of puzzles and I still enjoy doing them. I am often inspired by my likes and hobbies and I like to make them into blankets. This pattern is a written and grid pattern. It uses very basic crochet stitches and I would say it is easy, just a little time consuming.

This is available for purchase as an instant download in my esty shop.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

0 Crochet Plus Blanket Pattern

I love blankets that can be made for boys or girls. And this one is perfect. It whips up easy and fast and only uses 7 skeins of yarn. It is a baby/toddler blanket and is 29 inches by 35 inches. It only took a few days to make too. So it's perfect for a last minute baby gift. Available for instant download here in my etsy shop.

1 What I'm Working On

I've been on a break from crochet for a year or so because of life and family, but I'm SO happy to be back at it. I feel like I have a million pattern ideas in my head and I can't wait to bust them out and share with you. I get inspired by my interests and my kids. I love puzzles, so naturally I love to combine my hobbies into one, a crochet puzzle blanket! This was a little tricky to figure out and at first I was sure that I would never figure it out, but with a little patience and a lot of crocheting and unraveling, I think I've finally figured it out and I am loving the results. Here's some progress photos.

Sadly, I have run out of some colors so I have to wait for more yarn to come in the mail. I hate when that happens. I am so excited to finish this pattern and put it up in my shop. In the meantime I've been working on this other pattern.
Right now I'm making it into a placemat, but I think it would be a lovely pot holder or baby blanket.
Stay tuned for more updates and patterns. I'm also thinking of doing a video series on how to crochet. Let me know if you're interested. Pin It

0 Crochet VW Bus Blanket Pattern

Remember me? I haven't posted in 2 years, because of life and family and whatnot, but I really want to start blogging again with my crochet projects. So if you don't know this already about me, I have a slight obsession with VW buses. I LOVE them. And so it only made sense to create a crochet VW bus blanket for my kids (and me) to enjoy. And for you too! Find my pattern here. Hope you like it as much as I do.

2 Crochet Polka Dot Blanket Pattern

I just added this crochet pattern to my shop.  I love how it turned out. It was a little tricky figuring out, and it always is a headache making patterns, but in the end so worth it. I plan on making a gray one with all kinds of different colors sometime soon. The thing I love most about making patterns is all the new ideas I get from making one. Too many ideas, too little time!

2 New Listing in Etsy

I love doing custom orders. I made this little reindeer hat for a friend and listed the pattern in my shop. It can be for a boy or girl by just removing the bow. I'm thinking Benson and Kenzie need one each for when we go to Zoo Lights. So sweet for December babies too. I would be happy to make them for people that don't crochet, just send me an email (alynnc17@gmail.com) and let's get your babies a reindeer beanie!
