2 Waiting...Wishing

Do you like my new blog design?! Over the weekend Nick took care of me (I had the stomach flu for 4 days) and redesigned my blog since we didn't leave the house much. I love how it turned out!

In other news, I'm 35 weeks and can't wait to get this baby out of me!! This morning I was awake from 2-4 this morning breathing through contractions? They weren't very strong, but I'm really hoping he comes early, in about 2 weeks.

In the meantime, I've been sitting around crocheting newborn beanies like crazy. I have a bunch of new patterns that I'm excited to put in my shop soon. But mostly you won't hear much from me these days. I'll be sitting in my comfy chair watching netflix and trying to stay positive about how uncomfortable I am.

It's all worth it in the end right?

0 Getting Ready for a Boy

I've added a few monster things to my shop, including this crochet Mike Wazowski pattern and this newborn dinosaur beanieWe're getting pretty excited for this little boy to come!

Plus, Kenzie is obsessed with Monster's Inc. and watches it just about every day. And lately she's been randomly saying "Mike Wazowski"—which is the cutest thing ever—so how could I not make her one? She loves monsters and is always wanting us to chase her around and play monsters. She will be the best big sister in just six (hopefully short) weeks. I'm planning on him coming in four weeks, though, because I'm not sure how many more of his soccer kicks I can take!

0 Happy Fourth!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. My family has been in town for the past two weeks and we've been getting spoiled! Nick and I were able to getaway for a day and night in Park City over the fourth. It was our first time leaving Kenzie girl overnight, and it was so nice! We ate dinner without a little squirmer next to us, and we went shopping without a stroller. My favorite part was sleeping 10 hours and blasting the air conditioning all night long! It was heavenly.

It felt weird not to have Kenzie around, but it definitely was a nice break from her. It was nice to getaway from my everyday routine and to miss Kenzie!

We got home in time to watch fireworks from across the street on a hill. We waited about 2 hours for The Stadium of Fire fireworks to start, and they only lasted about 20 minutes...but the best part was we walked across the street to get home and didn't get stuck in all the traffic.

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July!
