Row 7: sc around (30)

magic ring 6
Row 1: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Row 2: sc in each st around (12)
Leave long tail and sew both ears to the top of the beanie.

This beanie is my new favorite. The yarn is incredibly soft and stretchy and perfect for a newborn gift when you don't know how big the babies head will be. And the best part, it only takes about 20 minutes to make! Luckily I was able to whip up a couple of these before my little guy came.

1 Nursery Decor

I'm getting excited to possibly be moving in a month and Kenzie getting her own bedroom!

I got this idea from here

I made a few modifications. I used scrapbook paper (which I think is way easier than fabric if you don't have a silhouette). I plan on doing one for Mexico and The UK as well.

Here's some other ideas I want to do:

2 Harry Potter's Littlest Fan

AHHHH!  I can't wait to put this on Kenzie once she wakes up!  We weren't able to see Harry Potter at midnight like I have for just about every previous film, but we're finally going to go see it this afternoon.  Nick is taking the GRE right now and Kenzie is sleeping, but as soon as he gets home we're going!

This was so easy to make.  I just cut out a stencil and used fabric paint and then sewed the heart on.  I crocheted the scarf while watching Monk last night and I might even have time to make a cloak before we go...

0 Baby Crafting

I am the proud mother of this beautiful angel.

She is six and a half months old and SO much fun. I've been baby crafting like crazy lately because when I was pregnant with her I was in school full time, working, and... did I mention pregnant? So it was a bit difficult to find the time or motivation to craft.

Here are some things I've made and links to the tutorials I followed to make them. One day I hope to be crafty enough to not need a step-by-step tutorial to make something beautiful...

Still more to come!
