One of the reasons is that it is sooo much faster. Love it. It really just depends what i want to accomplish. I did one knitted Afghan that took 6 months so i usually crochet Afghans but i absolutely love the way knit looks.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01379498171830398753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7811403586170126340.post-21379550006352435082012-12-09T14:50:09.786-07:002012-12-09T14:50:09.786-07:00I LOVE knitting! I would do knit something rather than crochet, hands down! Knitting does take much longer. I started out with knitting washclothes & with the time it took me to knit one washcloth I could have crocheted about 6 or 7. I just took my first knitting class a few months ago and realized I just like crocheting better because I can tell when I've made a mistake and go back and fix it. Knitting seems so much more complicated!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18055993921566956026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7811403586170126340.post-67002807224532553152011-12-16T09:45:59.718-07:002011-12-16T09:45:59.718-07:00Just started following your blog, love it BTW. I ...Just started following your blog, love it BTW. I couldn't agree more! I love the end resuklt of a knit pattern but crocheting just feels more natural for me and its just easier for me. Knitting takes me FOREVER. I can crochet a scarf in an hour....knitting might take me a total of 4-5 hours ( and MANY BREAKS). I have been crocheting since I was 15 (13 yrs) and knitting since I was 20 (8 yrs) and I have friends who swear by knitting. Maybe it just depends on which you learn first.Mrs. Nunnallynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7811403586170126340.post-55217910430567529162011-12-16T07:05:57.561-07:002011-12-16T07:05:57.561-07:00I learned crochet first and then tried knitting.
